Parc Chauveau Soccer Stadium

First building of its kind in the Quebec City region

Quebec City’s indoor soccer complex located in Chaveau Park consists of a wood structure with 11 arches spanning about 73 m and spaced 9 m apart. The arches each have the same radius of curvature and are made of laminated wood, a material that considerably reduces CO² emissions. The length of the individual arches and the elevation of their point of support however vary. Norda Stelo Construction’s design-build contract comprised the design, supply and installation of the wood structure as well as the design of the foundations.

The building achieved LEED Silver certification.
