CARIBOO Project

Our team updated the mineral resources and reserves, and developed a detailed mining plan using Deswik Scheduler, and provided an estimate of operating and capitalizing costs and expenses (OpEx/CapEx) for the underground mining segment. We made a major contribution to the feasibility study (43-101) with a focus on geological and mining aspects.

Our client is a processor of deli meats, ham, bacon and cured meats. Today, they want to modernize the capture and visualization of their plant data and improve information links. The objective of the activities carried out is to measure the global performance of the company and to propose a digital plan to achieve the company’s strategic orientations and objectives.

Valero's Flare

Energie Valero wanted to replace the main flare (54" diameter x 300' high). Norda Stelo was initially commissioned to determine the best of three possible scenarios, and then to carry out the detailed engineering for flare replacement during a planned shutdown of operations.

Detailed Engineering for Rehabilitation of Water Treatment System at Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR)

In 2014-2015, Norda Stelo was commissioned by SIR in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, to carry out a detailed engineering study to propose amendments, replacements, upgrades or renovations required to ensure the proper operation of all water treatment equipment in unit 65. This unit was designed to remove insoluble hydrocarbons, and comprises various pieces of equipment, including two static longitudinal settlers (API settler), a flocculator and the dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit. The rehabilitation of unit 65 was essential in view of the construction and commissioning of a downstream biological treatment unit. This unit would enable SIR to meet future, more stringent environmental standards.
