Michel Khouday has been appointed First Senior Vice President of Canada and President of the Regions for the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering
Mr. Michel Khouday, P. Eng., M.Sc. Eng., PMP, Adm. A., MBA, has been appointed First Senior Vice-President of Canada and President of the Regions for the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). Michel has been involved for many years as a manager with the Canadian Civil Engineering Society and several other large organizations. He has also held strategic positions at the provincial and national levels as a manager. He was Vice-President of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering for the province of Quebec, Vice-President Business Development, Section, for the same institution; University Ambassador for the ÉTS (École de technologie supérieure), and Vice-President M40 Communication of the Quebec MBA Association.
Founded in 1887 by leading civil engineers in Canada, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) is a scholarly corporation with more than 5,200 members and professionals operating in the civil engineering field; irrespective of their sectors of activity (public and private) or their areas of expertise (road networks, bridges, railways, etc.). The objective of the CSCE is to enhance the image of the civil engineering profession, and to develop and maintain high standards in the practice of civil engineering in Canada. The CSCE also promotes the development, acquisition and sharing of knowledge in this discipline.
